Join us to win a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented people and a fair, humane, and functional immigration system. The road to victory has been and will be paved by the fearlessness of millions of undocumented, LGBTQ, Black, indigenous, labor, and immigrant leaders. In our work, we center them and their communities. This launch video and poem were written and created by undocumented artists Samantha Ramirez-Herrera and Aline Mello.” Will you join us?

Immigrants are neighbors, friends, coworkers, family members. #WeAreHome

From the Muslim ban, to family separation, to deaths in detention, kids in cages, and mass worksite raids, together we’ve withstood constant attacks. Now is our chance. With your help, we can make the United States a place where “we the people” includes all of us.

Our Demands

The We Are Home campaign is urging the Biden-Harris administration and every member of Congress to take immediate action to protect all immigrants who call this country home.

Here’s what that looks like:

Undo
the cruelty of the Trump Administration:

The Biden-Harris Administration must dismantle the punishing policies of the Trump Administration. The moratorium announced on Day One will give the new Administration an opportunity to reset on interior enforcement – to shrink the system that has devastated millions of Black and brown immigrant families.

Build
a new immigration system that is fair, humane, and functional:

The Biden-Harris Administration and Congress must transform our federal immigration system and build a just system that is people-centered, treats immigrants with fairness, unites families, and welcomes immigrants as new Americans.

Create
a roadmap to citizenship:

Millions of undocumented immigrants live, work, and contribute to the United States every day. It is long overdue for Congress to formally recognize immigrants with citizenship, which is supported by an overwhelming number of Americans from all walks of life. Congress must enact legislation that creates a roadmap to citizenship for every immigrant who calls this country home.

The Numbers

Immigrants are a crucial part of our democracy, our families, and our communities. Currently, 1 in 5 essential workers in America is an immigrant. Make no mistake, transforming the immigration system helps everyone. Here’s what our plan for changing the immigration system could do:
$1.2 trillion decrease in federal deficit

$1 trillion added to the economy

3.22 million new jobs
